I always hate theme parks and never thought that I would go for any of the famous theme parks at the Gold Coast. But Lela invited me to go with her while she was on holiday here. I couldn't let down a good friend, can I? Movie World wasn't as bad as I thought it was, I did enjoy myself with all the screen of Sherk 4-D and also, my hero when I was younger, Batman with the motion ride.
Our past experiences were telling us not to take the NEW Superman Escape and the NEW Batman Wings. It's almost like a deep drop landing into the abyss. Later on, we went to watch the parade @ the main street of Movie World. Characters like Cat woman, Batman, Sherk, Princess Fiona, Scoppy and Shaggy and many more were on the road, waving and greeting all of us.
The whole day was spent there to make the most of the $44 I paid for the ticket. A special mention goes to the Police Academy Stunt Show. The must see if you go to Movie World.
I always think that the theme parks are there to earn my money to fund the already rich people who are running the place. After this trip, to be fair, looking at the stunt men, the extras, and the people in the costumes, I did help a lot of the people in terms of job security and their families back home. Then come down to this point, what about Sea World? Which I will never go, just like the Ocean Park in HK. Do the poor killer whales or dolphins earn money? Like we humans do, example of maybe AUS$15 an hr? The animals are always in the park 24/7 "working" for us and yet all they get is 3 meals a day. Is freedom not worth the 3 meals? Or are we just being selfish? And making them our slaves?

Had anyone from your household ever stare at you when u came back home? It's like the most weird feeling you ever had. This happened to me a few times and it just felt so weird. Why are there people, who are so busy body? Who in the world will bother to stand at the door for a good ONE minute just to watch and stare at your friend's car. Get a life, if not, at least try to act like you are doing something and not staring.
The church I am attending is just way too cool as compare to the last one I attended. They have proper system for sermons and duties. I like it that way and I knew most of the youth fellowers before I started attending their church; which makes my switch a good and smooth one. At the moment I'm still learning God's words and having a 1 on 1 bible study and that really helps alot.
Now now, I was having a conversation with B2. So it goes,
B2: It's funny hanging out with them.
B1: Ah. . . People who just got attached are like that.
B2: Really?! How come?
B1: They just act childish when they are madly in love.
Think about this, if 10 person came to tell you that you are always angry and no one DARE to talk to you, and worse, no one dare to tell you the truth. What can I do to help this poor person. But the person never knows that all of us are afraid of the person. It's not easy but someone have to do the dirty job. Thinking about it, I better leave that job to B2.
P.S. B2, remember, the answer for most questions is the same, it's SPONTANEOUS!

No longer just a walker. I am a driver now! My mum must be so proud of me, she must have wanted me to drive her around for so long. I am really happy also as it was one of my goal to get the licence this year. Went to golden circle to get some juice for the coming church camp from 15-18 Dec. Hope that it is going to be fun. My summer sem is not that bad, I have a nice and gentle supervisor. My life is shaping up reall nicely here and so are my fats. I'm getting back to my usual self again I guess. Starting to cook a lot more and enjoying myself more. I guess the AUS$3 Pandan leaves does miracle to me. I cooked nasi lemak and chicken rice in just one week. I just love what i cook. More food for the coming week, just stay tune.

Alan was saying, do you feel weird the next day after a exam paper. I must admit, there is time when I felt that way, but today, after my last paper, I felt empty. Seems like I have nothing to aim at now. Just praying that I will pass. In the emptiness, there is still heaps of things coming up for me. Going for a volunteer work at Straddie only on 24-25 Nov. I'm so sure I'm going to love it. In the mean time, more driving to do and the test date is confirm to be on 8 Dec 06. Wish me luck. One more sem to go!!

I always love November, not because it's the time for exams and the holidays after that. But it's because it's the month of my Birthday!!! It's also my Mum's brithday. Today my youth group gathered together and celebrated the Nov babies. Jess, Joyce and me. We were trying to kill the cake.
I'm still mugging on my notes for Organic Chemistry. Which I really have no idea about. This is really bad. Exams coming so soon yet so many things yet to be done. Will try to update more in the coming weeks. I'm sure once the exams are over, I will have more things to blog about.
Skills from my student leader days are back in use again. Recently helping out in a new youth group call Unique, it's a HK student based and they all speak canto. I'm there to add the fun element into the group. Been really fun to be able to help out Pastor Shek and also to use my game skills. Really hope that I will do a good job here and learn as much from Pastor and one day I can lead a group myself back in Singapore.
Mum, I love you.

I always end up talking to my friend about food as the topic. As most of my friends are from different countries, they have never really tried good Singapore food, like nasi lemak, the veg mee from the above picture, laska and many more. Food is one of my weakness, I'm trying to loss weight and be more active after the gathering at youth group. Cooking has never been the same from this week onwards. Heaps of fruits and veg, I will have to love on them for today onwards. Oh, as the mid semester vacation is coming, and also because of the flower festival, the youth group will be heading down to Toowoomba this sat. Will be enjoying my weekend and also looking forward to my Straddie trip.

Never felt this tired before. But the funny thing is, I'm feeling more alive. I guess learning is tired, be it in the Uni, life, my christian life and driving. Learning is fun and at times, it's serious. But at the end of the day, it's about me learning something new in life and that is tiring. Life is short, LEARN FAST.

I just LOVE HIM!!!!!! MR T.EKKA is going to be the topic, this coming week. For people in Brisbane at least. EKKA's a big fun fair, with rides, food stalls, dog show, show bags stall and also show animals, like show cows. Me together with Jon, Jessica, Simmy, Shinwei and Cheryl went there really early, we were at the gates at about 10ish I think, the Q wasn't that long and we get our tickets real quickly. First off, we head to see the rides, games and the food stalls. There was a number of rides and Jesscia, Shinwei and Cheryl just wanted to have a go at the rides and they took the space roller. I am just happy to be on land itself. But I'm sure they enjoyed themselves.
Anyway, there is a site on the right of this blog that will have a link to the pictures i took at EKKA. This week will be really busy, work to be done, 4 labs coming up, going clubbing and there is a bible leadership camp coming up this weekend. Man... Just hope things will be good and well for me this week.

If you are going to believe what I'm going to say. I'm having fun, eating well and getting fat. But seriously, all is good, I completed my set of Air Rifts now, they are all in Brisbane now, all 4 pairs, red, pink, black and red. Was talking to my friends about it, have set different color but same model shoe. They all think I'm weird. Oh, today is Friday and it is the only day that I have 2 hrs of class. Trying to understand most of the classes and really have to work hard this semester.
A picture says a thousand words.

The holidays almost over and what have you guys been up to? For those who are on holidays. Sorry for not been writing for the past month. Really enjoyed the July holidays. Went Moreton Island camping, saw wild dolphin feeding, went to Lamington National Park with my youth group and will be on a trip for Whale watching on the 29 July with CCM from UQ. I manage to pass my first semester. Give thanks to god.
The purpose of writing this blog today, is a way to announce the ghost of the past is over and I am going to start anew soon. Was out with Joyce at the Brisbane Festival (thanks Viv for the Tickets). The music was really good. And I was thinking about my life when I was listening to their meaningful songs. Then I thought about everything, good or bad, that happen. It's time I really move on. I always believe nothings too hard or too difficult in life. The main line for today, there's nothing left of her in me, only fingerprints in my room.
